Pilin D. Francis, DO, MS

Dr. Pilin Francis is a DC area native. She earned her Bachelor of Sciences in Life Sciences from Pennsylvania State University and her Master of Science in Forensic Science, with a concentration in Forensic Clinical Medicine, from Drexel University College of Medicine. Dr. Francis completed her medical degree at the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia. She went on to complete her Internal Medicine Residency at Albert Einstein Healthcare Network and her Gastroenterology Fellowship at Cooper University Hospital. 

 

During her time at Cooper University Hospital, Dr. Francis completed research focusing on Inflammatory Bowel Disease. She also completed research in H pylori & cirrhosis at Albert Einstein during her residency. Dr. Francis is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Gastroenterological Association, the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the American College of Gastroenterology, and the American College of Physicians. 

 

Dr. Francis is dedicated to providing individualized and evidence-based medical care to her patients.
