About Anita M. Wolke, MD
Dr. Wolke received her undergraduate degree from The University of Maryland and her medical degree from the University of South Carolina. She completed her internship, residency and fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York and started The Gastroenterology Group in 1987. The Gastroenterology Group joined Gastro Health on September 1, 2021.
She is interested in colon cancer prevention, inflammatory bowel disease and gastro esophageal reflux. Dr. Wolke has authored several abstracts, articles and book chapters. She lives in Northern Virginia with her husband and their three children. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading and enjoying life. She has been listed as a top physician in both The Washingtonian and Northern Virginia Magazine.
